OmniLift FAQs

  • General FAQs
    • Can I still use a foot-control pedal on my trolling motor while using the OmniLift?

    • Yes you can.  The OmniLift comes with standard foot control designed to lower and raise your trolling motor in and out of the water by simply pressing the foot control button.  Once in the water, an anglers foot control operation is still in place.  Now though, an angler can just "Lift and Go" when he or she decides to change fishing locations.

    • Can the OmniLift be purchased in sporting good stores?

    • At this time the OmniLift is only available on-line.  Although in the future, there is a possibility of the OmniLift being available in the major outdoor retail venues.

    • Will the OmniLift work on all trolling motors?

    • The OmniLift is made in different size models to fit most major brands of trolling motors.

    • How is the OmniLift secured for running boats at high speeds?

    • When the OmniLift is not being used, an angler simply takes the Remote Key Fab and easily raises trolling motor out of water.  At this point, you can simply lay trolling motor back onto the OmniLift rack for a secure fit for operating a boat at high speeds.

    • Will the OmniLift's 360 Degree Breakaway system guarantee that I won't bend or break my trolling motor shaft?

    • When the OmniLift is submerged underwater and the trolling motor is being used at normal speeds under normal fishing conditions, then yes, it will eliminate bending or breaking of an anglers trolling motor.  If trolling motor is left submerged underwater and boat is operated under high speeds using motor other than trolling motor, then there are no guarantees that the OmniLift can protect your trolling motor shaft.  Although, when operated under normal trolling conditions, the OmniLift will prevent the bending and breaking of trolling motor shafts.
